I never really understood that statement. As a Christian I understand Hell to be the eternal pouring out of Gods wrath upon sinners. That would not be funny. That would make everything as Funny as Hell because hell would not be that funny.
This however is a funny understanding of hell:
2008

- Graduated from college (6 months pregnant!)
- Moved back home to be close to family.
- Finally quit Starbucks…after almost 4 years of servitude.
- Had a baby girl, Afton Mackenzie, on August 10th!
- John got a youth minister position at Central Baptist Church in Hillsboro, Tx. (he starts the middle of January)
Things that I look forward to in 2008:
- Watching Afton grow and learn.
- Moving to a small town where I don’t know anyone.
- Getting to serve alongside John in youth ministry again.
- Living closer to my best friend, the Penningtons, the Winns, and Brent.
- Seeing my dad get the job of a lifetime and my parents move to Kentucky.
- Starting to teach piano lessons.
- Celebrating 3 years of amazing marriage (an actual total of being together 8 years) with my husband.
- Whatever else God has in store! Amy

Amy and I were married on May 21, 2005, I know this because I was there, in Humble Tx. We received many wonderful presents for the occasion, including from my best man, Brent, a set of pretty decent tools. Brent however waited until just before the ceremony to give them to me so naturally I forgot them at the church because i was well… preoccupied. I counted them lost and had forgotten about them completely until Sunday Night. This past Sunday I got to hang out with Friends that I grew up with, guys that I wont see for 2 1/2 years and still pick up were we left off, it was a great time. Well one of them turns to me and says He has something for me. We go to his car and he pulls out the tools that Brent gave me so long ago. He tells me how he found them and had them in his trunk for the last two years and he has just never been able to give them to me since i lived in Dallas and he lived in Houston and about the time I moved to Houston he moved to Dallas. So after two and one half year I finally got my last wedding present… again.
